The field recording log.

My Secret Service · October 22, 2026
One consistent demo business. One order. The whole story.

What we have now

Real app screens + delivery video captured

The public Goods Bazaar and private Odd Little Things craft shop were captured from a disposable local MSS installation. Four generated craft photographs carry visible 19+ stickers. One Undercover Rock order runs through bag, address, review, receipt, simulated payment, dispatch and completion.

The delivery recording is 20 seconds of the actual application animation at 1440 × 1000. It is silent and plays only when requested. The 187 backup and final confirmation dialogs were captured and cancelled.

The shot list

01 · Public front · Captured

Goods Bazaar

Saved desktop, catalog, product-detail and phone captures of the actual Broad Street Bazaar front.

02 · Private business · Captured

Cheap crafts, serious labels

Saved the actual private landing, catalog, product detail and phone view. All four crafts have 19+ stickers in their product photographs. The business and products are fictional demo content.

03 · The reveal · Captured

One website, two presentations

Captured signed-out public and signed-in member views at 1440 × 1000 and 390 × 844. The showcase tabs compare screenshots; real access uses member sign-in.

04 · Order · Captured

From craft to confirmation

Saved item detail, bag, checkout bag, delivery address, review and received-order screens. Every shot uses Alex Example and the same Undercover Rock order.

05 · Payment · Captured

The actual payment screens

Saved customer instructions, administrator order detail, payment confirmation and Paid state. No money was sent. Payment instructions explicitly identify the demonstration.

06 · Delivery · Video captured

Out for delivery, in motion

Saved the actual animation as a 20-second MP4 and a higher-quality WebM capture master, plus poster, phone view and separate Delivered state.

07 · 187 · Captured

The Real Store clear control

Saved administrator placement, the checked-backup unlock prompt, and the final warning with backup unchecked. These are two separate branches. Both were cancelled; no clear, backup export or restore was executed. Current 187 includes members, invitations and orders as well as the catalog.

08 · Iceland · Claim check pending

The hosting story

Use Iceland in the novelty narrative. Confirm the exact hosting arrangement before final public copy. An Icelandic domain alone does not establish where a server runs.

The delivery recording

  1. Open the same synthetic order in its genuine out-for-delivery state, with the actual animation enabled.
  2. Capture the complete order screen at readable native dimensions. Also capture a phone portrait view if the final media layout needs it.
  3. The inspected delivery stylesheet has a 12-second landscape loop, with faster wheels, road and suspension loops. Plan for about 15–20 seconds after the scene settles; verify runtime timing before cutting.
  4. Keep status text visible. The decorative loops do not advance delivery status. Capture arrival separately unless the application actually transitions during the recording.
  5. Retain the original recording, a web-ready MP4, a still poster, source revision, viewport, capture date and synthetic scenario notes.
  6. Review playback for a real motion cycle, readable text, no private data, no flash, and no unexpected audio. Use deliberate play/pause controls on the final page.

Completed: actual CDP screencast, 941 frames over 19.925 seconds after discarding three startup frames and an 11.287-second startup gap. Web MP4: 20 seconds, H.264, 1440 × 1000, 30 fps, no audio. The landscape cycle is 12 seconds; delivery status stayed Out for delivery throughout.

Located source material

Captured existing local built output dated October 21. The source checkout HEAD observed at capture close was 65ff080; build-to-source identity and equivalence to the hosted pilot are not asserted. Detailed asset provenance is in README.md.

What makes the media ready

Actual screens from one coherent synthetic scenario. Clear 19+ badges on every craft item. Both identities recognizable. Complete order/payment/delivery sequence. A playable recording of the real out-for-delivery animation. No private data, no fake capabilities, and a source note for every asset.
